Today was a swell day! While playing hop-scotch at recess, Martha Ann told me that Billy Bob had a crush on me! Ahhhhh!!! He is so dreamy! AND he has the new xbox! Everyone at school is so jealous. I hope he picks me to be on his team in kickball tomorrow...

Dear Digital Diary, Digital Friends, Digital Family, and Digital Stalkers,
After much thought and deliberation, and a few requests from friends, I have finally broken down and started a blog. This blog will not just be stories about the major, thrill-seeking adventures in far away lands. It will also encompass the things in every day life that are just as exciting and scary...and flat-out funny...but on a smaller scale. It's all relative anyway. And this blog is just a peak into my relativity.
I guess I should better explain the title of the blog, as I can hear my mother and father, henceforth referred to as Ma and Pa for Southern colloquialism's sake, going, "Leeeeiiiiiigggghhhh," in a not-upset-but-disapproving tone..."that's not very lady-like." I know. But as they and many others that have read my travel writings know, I am a very detailed person. This translates to me writing little novellas in email format about random events in my life...like going to the county courthouse in order to plead 'not guilty' to a traffic violation that was unjustly given to me by a quota-filling state trooper. Of course I could summarize it in a paragraph! But that is boring! I want you to see it...feel it...smell it...don't taste it, it probably has trans fat. Therefore, 5 chapters later, you have a real story that hopefully made you smile, laugh, gag, rejoice, or wonder why I am not in an mental institution. Stay tuned...
